FISHING
FRESH CATCH OF THE DAY
Fishing is a popular pastime for North Myrtle Beach residents and visitors
alike. Our pristine stretch of oceanfront and local pier provide the perfect
points for any type of fishing excursion: offshore, inshore, surf, pier and
deep sea. (Pier fishing does not require a license).
South Carolina does require a saltwater fishing license, but only if you'll
be fishing from a private boat or gathering oysters or clams. Additional
information including size and quantity limits are available through the South
Carolina Department of Natural Resources by calling
(803) 734-3833.
North Myrtle Beach has become a popular location for numerous fishing
