Your first stop is in the heart of city when you will board a Classic Carriage for a one hour
tour through Charleston's historic neighborhoods and business district. The licensed guides
possess a wealth of knowledge and takes pleasure in sharing anecdotes, while you gain a new
perspective on Southern culture.
You will be able to spend a short amount of time in the Old City Market, which dates to
1841. Today, more than 100 vendors sell everything from local foods to souvenirs. The most
celebrated residents are the ladies who weave and sell sweet-grass baskets.
From there you will board the bus for a short ride to Charleston Maritime Center where you will
board the Carolina Belle, a USCG certified vessel. Your licensed captain narrates a relaxing, and
insightful tour of the harbor. This tour is rated one of the best ways to discover the Holy City
and view its famous Harbor!
Sights you'll see include Fort Sumter, USS Yorktown, and Stately homes on the battery, the
